Resolution Life Australasia Limited (Resolution Life Australasia) is proposing to transfer its New Zealand life insurance business (and the policies it insures) to Asteron Life Limited (Asteron Life).
For nearly 150 years, Asteron Life has supported New Zealanders, with a heritage dating back to 1878. Part of the Acenda Group and ultimately owned by Nippon Life Insurance Company, Asteron Life helps customers protect what matters most and face the future with greater confidence.
Subject to approval by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) and other authorities, it is proposed that Asteron Life becomes the insurer of these life insurance policies from 1 February 2027. This date is a best estimate only.
